WPE-series small wind turbines for grid-tie connection

Over 2kW wind turbines can be used in grid tie connection. Grid connection is made with grid tie inverter. The electricity produced by the wind turbine is fed to the electrical distribution board. This electricity reduces the power that needs to be bought from the grid. If power produced by the wind turbine is greater than the consumption in house the excess power is fed to the grid. In some countries electric power companies compensate the excess energy that is fed to the grid. Check from you local electric power company what is the local practice. 

WPE-series wind turbines include models in power range 2kW – 20kW. These wind turbines feature robust and reliable tail controlled yawing and over wind protection.

Other features are low start up wind speed, low noise, slip rings for electrical connection and corrosion resistant parts.
