Wind power

Wind is kinetic energy generated by helioradiance. Wind power is a renewable energy form that can be used by wind turbines. The ancestors of the modern wind turbines used also rotation of blades in milling grain and pumping up water.

Wind power can be used directly for charging batteries, for heating or it can be transformed in electricity. This energy form is pure and renewable, therefore it is most ecological way of local energy production - in fighting against the air pollution and climate change.

The place for installation is very important for the power output. Obstacles, such as tall trees or high buildings too close to the turbine, cause turbulence that affects wind speed. The wider open place the better power output.

After the installation the wind turbine needs just few maintenance operations – and provides pure and free energy safely. It is also good to know that a wind turbine is easy to connect with a solar energy system and so have the benefits of both energy sources.
